Niagara Falls! The American side has a great park and overlook. You can take the Maid of the Mist boat or do the Cave of the Winds tour if you are so inclined...or you can just see the falls for free!
The Canadian side is much more commercial than the American side, and you can see the Horseshoe falls better. There is a lot of shopping and fun, kitschy things on the Canadian side. The American side is more of a park. If you have your passport, take your pick!

An awesome place to hang out to view the lake. There is a small beer garden and adirondack chairs (or muskoka chairs for you Canadians). You have to take the Queen City bike ferry from Canalside (you don't need a bike to take the ferry) or you have to go all the way around which is a pain. There are a lot of bike paths from here as well along the water if you're into that.
