Sightseeing
Located more south up in the highlands is a place called Tagaytay. A bustling suburb with a cooler climate and a great view of the active Taal Volcano by the lake. Guinness Book of World Records described this place as "an island, within an island, within an island". The RIDGE is lined with restaurants, hotels, theme parks, picnic grove, golf courses and a casino. Access to this place is via a private car and requires a full day to fully explore the place. I personally recommend Bags of Bean Cafe, Breakfast at Antonio's, Mushroom Burger, Cafe Breton, RSM, Starbucks Coffee that gives the magnificent view of Taal Volcano. There are plenty of high end restaurants like Pamana, Josephines, Sonya'

whats the best way to enjoy an outdoor museum? this small rock island, comparable to "The Rock" Alcatraz Island, was the last bastion of defense during the last world war. this is the turning point of the war, and the surrender of its twin sister, the El Fraile Island (Fort Drum) seals the deal. remnants of old cannons, ruins of old barracks, tunnel museums echoes the last wars turn of events. the trip can be a hot and humid, so i suggest to wear comfortable clothing. be ready to jump in the beach when you have the time but don't be surprised if there is no ample amenities in the area.
