Head down to try my favourite white carrot cake that I've been eating for more than a decade! (He Zhong Carrot Cake #02-185)
This market is packed with fantastic food locals love, it's minutes away from Beauty World MRT and its atmosphere is what I call childhood.

The only tourist activity worth going to in Singapore. Visit at 7am to dodge the crowd and catch the sunrise. Definitely pay to enter the flower dome; it's worth every dollar.

Traveler advice
Customs and culture
Don't be afraid to leave your bags at seats/tables
Singapore is relatively safe, so when you're at a crowded hawker or cafe, feel free to leave your bags at the available seats to "reserve" it for yourself. Just bring your valuables with you.
Ways to save
Take the train AND the bus!
Our transport system is paid by the distance. Every time you get off a bus or train, you will have a 20 minute window to continue your trip using a different bus or train. Use this to save money on transport.
The longer the distance you travel, the cheaper it will be.
What to pack
Bring a bottle of water wherever you go.
Singapore is hot. And humid. Hydrate yourself constantly to avoid falling sick.
