Food Scene
Food tripping is fun in Manila. So many local food destinations and a lot of international names have set shop too. Poblacion in Makati is accessible from the condo (take grab). Its a trendy area that revitalized the oldest part of the Makati CBD and transformed it with a bohemian feel... lots of bars, restos.
Mega Mall is full of restaurants from Shake Shack, Ippudo, Tim Ho Wan to Mang Inasal.
There is also Greenhills Shopping Center which is a haven for shopping, you can find almost anything here at bargain prices. A plus is the mall also has a good selection of restaurants. TIP ON TIANGGE SHOPPING : always bargain and haggle nicely in the tiangge shops. FOOD: try Wild Flour's bread and pastry selection. Le Ching for their Beef Brisket Rice or Spareribs Rice. Big Chill for their supercharger shake.

What to pack
Natural Mosquito Repellant and Sunscreen
It can get really hot and humid in Metro Manila, protect your skin by applying suncreen, wear a hat and sunglasses when outdoors. And to protect yourself from mosquito bites, spray insect repellent or but those citronella patches to ward off the bugs. Kids here use them all the time.
