Rendalen is THE eldorado for all kinds of hikers. You can find all kind of trails with different levels of physical challenges. Most trail heads are within toll roads. Hiking guides are available. Mt SOLEN: Challenging hike. 9 hrs total. Flat trail 2,5 hrs to the feet of Sølen, by the pond Skardtjønna. From there approx 90 mins steep up to summit,1755 m asl. The most beautiful 360 dgr panorama from there.
