If you like breweries, you'll love this coffee shop, filled with all sorts of coffee paraphernalia. They take their coffee (and caffeine) very seriously, so seriously that when I first ordered and asked for low fat milk, they informed me that they don't DO low fat because it compromises the flavor.
Even the decaf versions can cause some jitters, just so you know. Delicious.

Best bakery on South Broadway, plus the owner stood up to hate speech. If you're craving a cookie, try the dulce de leche. Though you can purchase the tiny ones, go for the big one, and don't share. Seriously. Life is too short. Eat all the dessert.

Our beautiful local park, located half a mile up Louisiana. Great for a leisurely stroll, or a nice jog. Stop by Nixon's coffee shop on the way there or back, or grab a Duffy roll and take a picnic. I feel very comfortable there during the day, but at night I give it a pass.
