Great place to take a dip on the cold river (be careful, heavy currents), there is a fantastic easy approx 3km round walk through the lush rainforest, a visitor centre with nice gift shop and food, shuttle service from Gorge to Visitor Centre. Enquire about Dream time walks, interpretative tours guided by the local Aboriginal Community members, one of the best things I have ever done!

Lovely village in a rainforest setting, tie in with the skysail and/or historic train or drive yourself (1hour). There is a butterfly sanctuary, zoos, markets, lots of shops and restaurants to explore, nice in the summer as it is a bit cooler up there.
