Lyme Regis
Beautiful views, calm sandy beach, excellent location being close to the harbour, eateries and Lyme Regis gardens and high street.
The stretch of beach can be divided into sections. Black Venn, Church Beach and Monmouth Beach are all dog friendly all year round. These are situated to the left and right of the main sandy central section of beach. Dogs are not allowed on the sand between April - September.
The Lyme Regis webcam looks out on to the Sandy section which allows you to view the sea conditions before leaving the house.

The harbour for Lyme Regis is called the Cobb. A refuge has been in place here since 1313 but the present construction was built in 1824. Walk along the Cobb (avoid the top wall in windy weather) to gain lovely sea views over to Portland and Golden Cap.
