Skiing
A few tips to help you make the most of your skiing vacation.
If you’re in Stowe to ski, this is the place you’ll be heading to!
Weekends can be busy - so make sure you plan your day well to avoid sitting in traffic, or arriving to a full car park. In particular, Presidents Week and February vacation week can be very busy. An alternative to taking your own car is to take the Mountain Road shuttle from the Round Hearth.
Our favourite place to eat is the Cliff House at the top of the Gondola. It’s a good idea to arrive early, as they don’t accept reservations. Food at the Spruce Base Camp is ok, but not as good as the Cliff House for about the same price. The Octagon at the top of theQuad is great for breakfast sandwiches, or to warm up when its too cold! An alternative is the HourGlass within the hotel, which has good food, and again similarly priced.

Unfortunately, the weather isn’t always supportive of our plans for outdoor activities, so it’s good to have something fun to do as an alternative.
