Dear guest,
Forchheim is a historical town in Oberfranken. It was a host for the Kaiser in the Kaiserpfalz. It is known for the Kellerwald (Cellarforest), the historical old town with the big square at the City Center. It is a place where a lot of breweries were established at the hillside of Forchheim. These breweries have also beergardens that are a hotspot for natives and tourists in spring and summer. Our home is very close to the Kellerwald, so it is worth to hike there.

Useful phrases
Grüß Gott
In Franken and Bavaria you say Servus or Grüß Gott as "hello".
Bye is "Servus" too! or Ade.
People here are very helpful. You can ask anyone without hesitation. Sometimes the local accent will make things pretty hard though ;)
