Grab a gourmet sandwich from this little gem inside my favorite neighborhood bodega (La Tropicana Market). Stock up on snacks, produce and provisions in the market while you wait for your fresh fruit juice made to order! Also has great coffee and kombucha on tap. ...And did I mention hot fudge sundaes?

Getting Around
Parking sucks downtown, so try taking the gold line there! Still a novelty to most Angelenos, this is a fun way to get those steps in and not deal with parking. Get a unique perspective as you float on the rails above knotted freeways. This station has a free parking lot, so I usually drive and park here. You can always take a Lyft back... to the parking lot and the drive home. Okay, I get that this sounds ridiculous. But this is something I actually do sometimes. The red line will take you to Hollywood (walk to Tiki Ti, Vista Theater).
