West Chester is an easy 15-20 minute drive away and offers a fantastic food scene and night life. We enjoy lots of the events hosted in the downtown area, such as the Chester County Restaurant Festival (usually 3rd Sunday in September), the Chili Cook-Off (usually 2nd Sunday in October), and Swingin Summer Thursdays (live music on the streets, 1st Thursday of summer months). This is also the home of West Chester University, which is a beautiful campus to tour.
