Surely one of the most spectacular all-day hikes in New England. About 8 hours and 9 miles takes you up Little Haystack Mountain, then over to Mt Lincoln and Mt Lafyette on a moderately challenging "knife edge", all above timberline. You can rest briefly at AMC Greenleaf Hut before heading down the Old Bridle Path to the same trailhead where you began. Get an early start - at least by 7am. Trailhead is about 55 minutes from Tilton. Moderate to hard difficulty.
