Getting around
Bus is the most common way to get around.
The bus stops are located 20-80 meters away from the apartment. Be careful with the cabs/taxis - some might charge you a lot more than the normal fee. Good taxi companies are Triumf Taxi (recognise them by the number on the side of the car - it should be 644 444) and Hippo taxi (344 444). I would not recommend any other taxi company in Varna.

Exchange money
In Bulgaria the payments are done in BGN (Bulgarian Leva). Be careful when you exchange money. There are many exchange burros that will buy your currency at MUCH lower level than normal. By law each Exchange should have a billboard in front showing the rate for "Buy" and "Sell". Check Bulgarian Bank's official site before doing an exchange:
