If you’d like to explore beyond the borders of Gibsons and are looking for more shopping options, Sechelt is a great option! At twice the size of Gibsons, it has a slightly busier vibe.

A lovely spot for hanging on the beach. At low tide there is a nice sandpit which is great for swimming or observing crabs.

Getting around
Walking or Driving
Lower (historic) Gibsons is about a 15 minute walk through a forest trail with a modest elevation gain, the biggest part of which is Fisher Road leading to/from the house.
Don't miss
Grantham’s Wharf
If you need to cool off, take a stroll down to the bottom of the hill and jump off the pier. The water is very inviting and this is a great spot to start beachcombing. You’ll find a few sandy spots in either direction along the coast. Dock is only accessible from May until late September.
