This is by far the best BBQ in the area. Head to Slow Groovin for great food and drinks. Great for lunch or dinner, I recommend the smoked chicken and sangria after a long day playing in the mountains.

Exploring by bike
Check out the Rio Grand Trail system! This mostly paved bike and pedestrian trail runs uninterrupted from Glenwood Canyon to aspen. It passes through Carbondale and Basalt so it offers a fun way to see the valley and get out of the car.
