The marsh is particularly important for wildlife as a resting, breeding, and feeding ground. The trails are open (the center is closed for now but check in to see more details.)

The Black Point Inn is a bit fancy but also you can just go there for a drink and sit out on the lawn or on the porch and enjoy! Once there, you can access the cliff walk, which is a hidden gem that is an absolute must see! Winslow Homer’s cottage is there (part of the Portland Museum of Art now) where he painted many of his famous Maine sea scapes.
