The worlds strongest maelstrom. Definitely worth a visit during the strongest hours of the tidal current. Travel time from the house is roughly 20 minutes and there is a 150kW-charger at Tverlandet if you are driving an electric car.

Traveler advice
Getting around
General personal preferences.
Taxi is, as most places, most convenient - but the bus connections are more than enough to get around town. You can also check out the app «nabobil» to get cheaper rentals on cars. It´s kinda like AirBnB.

Tipping
Tipping is not necessary (If you´re very satisfied, then do as you please). Most restaurants will leave you the option to tip when you pay before you get your food. You have to manually type in the total amount of money you like to pay, including tip. It´s ok to just type in the original amount here.
