Favourite small beach
Not well known local beach. Very clear water, wild beauty but could come across sea urchin so best is not to walk in the water. (Sea urchin only inhabits very clear water). Easy to get to by car with free parking but 130 steps to get down to the beach. Bar and sunbeds available

Montenegro specialises in not making the most of many monuments. The trail to this fortress is not easy to find but there's a YouTube video that shows the instructions Second, the trail is not for those with a weaker constitution; the way up is rocky, requires some balance, strong lunging is important. But should you make it up there, the view and solitude more than compensate for the trek.

Don't miss
Rijeka Crnojevica (Skadar Lake), Cetinje & Lovcen
Morning (1hr drive from Montestellato) The best way to see Skadar lake is to take narrow, steep road from Virpazar towards Rijeka Crnojevica. The views are just stunning. If you have a problem with narrow, steep roads perhaps it is not for you but you can also reach it from Podgorica where road is wider. If you want to take a Boat tour of Skadar Lake, we would advise to take it from Rijeka Crnojevica rather than from any other place to experience breath-taking scenery. If you want to pre-book tour you can contact pedja.sorat@gmail.com; +382 67 555 820 or Viber +382 67 201 027.
