A few minutes south. The pier is a must-visit place. Watch the murmurations of the starlings in autumn/winter. While away time and pennies at the arcades. Brave the rides or just enjoy a sunny drink watching the beach from the sea. Watch out for the seagulls stealing your fish and chips!

A short drive or a bus ride (from the seafront, no. 77). Devils dyke is a gorgeos spot for a walk. Great to explore with amazing views. Take a picnic, or find one of the country pubs near by, my favorite is the Royal Oak in Poynings with its huge garden (with a good play areas for kids). Great food in a lovely spot.
