I have been to many a sushi joint in the United States. This one is the best, if not one of the best, I have ever had the privilege of being a patron. They are modern, clean, and provide great food, drinks, and service. Always prepare to wait unless you get there at opening time.

When you want a really good local beer and outstanding pizza, this is the place. Always good and all the other food on the menu (with german flair) is outstanding. The homemade bread is to die for.

Just a solid sandwich joint. I have never had a bad meal here. They definitely cater to the vegetarian crowd too. Prepare to wait in line a little in the summertime.

Great southern fare, and yes, the fish is really well done. Their bar has stepped up the local quirky, yet delicious, cocktails. Always a treat to go and see what they are serving up!

Three waterfalls in downtown Blowing Rock. This trail is about 1.5 miles to the bottom and 1.5 miles back up with about 800 feet in descent and ascent. It is not for the weak of heart but totally worth it if you are physically capable.
