351 Main StLocated in the heart of downtown Rockland, step inside Clan MacLaren and elevate your casual lunch experience. The breads and soups are locally baked and homemade, the panini sandwich combinations hit the spot and sometimes she has vanilla ice cream to put in your coffee. It is a place that is especially cosy on a rainy or brisk or snowy day and with its pure white painted ceiling and walls beautiful with the sun.

You can go upstairs without a reservation, which I recommend-because it is a little more flexible& casual but also feels moody in a good way and cozy and the service and food is fantastic.

This is a new walking path with a wide berth and which also allows dogs. It is a preferred spot because of how much space there is from the path to the edge of the forest. It’s hard for ticks to reach you!
Also, for a longer walk follow signs to Beech Hill where the birds and views rock.

You can bring your dog here on leash ( or off if you are early enough). Check the tides so you have sand to sit on below the large pebble walk down. Or eat your lunch in the car as you watch the sea birds and sparkling water glisten.

Also known as Lucia Beach, there are big rocks along the sides of the sandy beach to explore and rest upon. When the gate is closed you can park outside of it and enjoy a 3/4 mile walk down the park road to the beach.
