This is our current favorite spot. It’s got that Brooklyn esq edge to it. Innovative chef, chic interiors and slamming cocktails. I always have a great time.

This place is very charming. I do feel it is a little over priced for the fair (it’s just a very old-school menu, I’m not super excited about- think chicken liver mouse, grilled lamb chops, Cornish Game hen) BUT, that being said it’s so so pretty and I like to sit out on the deck in the summer, it truly is a beautiful place and the vibes are great. Christmas time inside is also perfection. It also has an unexpected killer wine list.
I’d say worth a visit.

One of our FAVORITEs, though it is a bit of a drive, it’s definitely worth it. The quality is so high. I’d pick this restaurant over any in New York City. simple and elegantly prepared dishes, where the ingredients shine.

I’m super impressed with Glass bar. It has such a cozy atmosphere, with fire places inside and beautiful waterfall

This is my favorite breakfast spot. I dream about there pancakes, their sausage, their bacon. Oh, but those pancakes. This is over in Waymart, and there’s really not much else going on there, but it’s a pretty drive and the breakfast is that good, I don’t care. It feels like it should exist in the Gilmore girls universe, so if thats your vibe, check it out. Make sure you double check if they are open before you travel. Right now for the Summer I believe it’s only open fri-sun

If we drive in on weekend you best believe we stop at Mr Yocks on the way. We usually get a whole pile of BBQ to go, but it’s also nice to sit outside and there’s usually live music

I think this Brewery is rather chic (as someone with no experience with Breweries) classic sports bar food - but slightly elevated.

The Hideouts very own Clubhouse. We definitely go here a lot when we are up at cabin as it’s so convenient for dinner. While it’s not the most amazing food, it’s still well done. There’s also the Golf pub next door for some cheeky cocktails. Remember to bring your Member passes. You might need to call for large groups.

I always hit up the Hawley Antique exchange when I make a trip to Hawley. It’s a very fun store and they have a beautiful collection of glass wear and dining. I found some treasured, one of kind sets here. I’ve also found some amazing vintage clothing. You really never know what you’ll find. I leave there wanting to sip champagne in a 1920s slip dress every-time.
There is also a incredible collection of uranium glass downstairs (behind locked glass) it’s for viewing only (obviously)
