Great cozy neighbourhood place for coffee, soups, lunch, and wine later in the day. Sometimes there's music here, and it's a great walk through the residential streets to arrive at this little triangle of delight.

Parks & Nature
This is a park and hiking trail along the river. It's close to home and a really natural park, not a lot of development (except one really cool kids playground). Great for sitting and watching the river, and the beaver late in the afternoon before dusk.

Arts & Culture
A six-thousand year-old camping and hunting site of the original Plains people. This is recommended for everyone to learn about the Indigenous people of this unique place, and their culture and way of life in the past, and also in the present. A wonderful location, always good art exhibits, and good gift shop. It's a drive to get there or a 1/2 day excursion on your bike.

A cool movie theatre and live arts venue. They serve popcorn with real butter and wine…can it get better? I've seen Sarah Slean, Royal Wood, Buffy Ste-Marie, and countless good movies here.
