Food scene
This place used to be a feed and chick store back in the early 1920s. It’s still maintained a lot of the vintage feel with its atmosphere. It’s where Eric and I met and one of our places to have a beer, hang out with the pups on the patio, and visit with friends.

Traveler advice
Don't miss
Texarkana’s downtown Post Office
This is a unique post office that has a roundabout and is located on the actual stateline of both Arkansas and Texas. It’s a popular tourist destination to be able to stand in 2 states at once.

Downtown murals
Downtown is a great place to see hand painted murals. It’s not big, but it’s worth the drive. You can even contact our local Musuem system to take the driving tour!! The art is beautiful— don’t miss it.
Ways to save
Pokémon Go & Wizarding World of Harry Potter
There are countless historical hot spots ALL OVER downtown. It’s a jackpot for my fellow nerds.
