Hands down, our favorite restaurant ever! Lucky us, it's just two blocks away. A nice walk. All the good things they say about Gjelina are true! We can't say enough. If you can't get a reservation, you can probably be seated as a walk in at 5:30 : )

Boy are we fortunate that one of the best Italian restaurants in LA ended up on Abbot Kinney Blvd. This is another difficult reservation to secure, but you can always join the line at 5:30 pm for the first seating. It's worth it! Squash blossoms, caccio e pepe, a great selection of wines and cocktails, etc.

There's a good meal here for everyone. Choices of sushi, or great entrees from the kitchen. Japanese and California cuisine. Wabi- Sabi has become quite the bar scene, especially after the beach and late at night.

One of the iconic neighborhoods of Venice. I recommend walking through the canals to get a sense of historic Venice. The Venice walk streets are a must experience as well. The walk streets--Nowita Place, Marco Place, and Amoroso Place are unique in that they are narrow, beautifully landscaped sidewalks in Venice lined with houses on both sides. They are charming as heck. Check them out!
