Swimming and snorkeling are best in the far end of the bay (Mazunte direction). Here, you can usually get in and swim whereas in the open sea areas, you do a lot of wave jumping. Open sea areas are good for body surfing, boogie boarding.

Pasajeros, trucks, pass by every 20 minutes or so.
For a few pesos, the trucks take you between Mazunte, San Agustinillo and Zipolite. They do travel via Mazunte to Pochutla.
