Awesome fresh water white sandy beaches, 15 mins from town.
White sandy beaches. Huge when the tide is out, fires are great here permitted there is no fire ban. Discovery foods in Oyster River is on the way, stop in for some deli snacks/picnic supplies and support a local business. Pizza place here also and a liquor store.

Head south on the inland hwy and do a uturn at Hamm Road. Park on the north end of the Oyster River Bridge, north facing. Take the trail down to the potholes - beautiful blue swimming holes in a crisp, clear river. Amazing gem. This is the cover photo.
