Traveler advice
Getting around
Getting around via the free shuttle bus.
There is a free bus that stops directly in front of this condo. The bus is Route #1 and goes from here, to the Lower Woodbridge condos, to the Snowmass Center, to Snowmass Base Village and finally to Snowmass Mall. Route #1 runs on a loop.
ROUTE #1
This bus picks up in front of the condo every 15 minutes from 7:08 AM through 6:08 PM. These busses are mostly on time but can run behind a minute or two during peak times.
Example: 7:08, 7:23, 7:38 and 7:53
PRO TIP: Wait until you see the bus pass the condo, through the sliding glass doors, then walk outside to the bus stop.
Customs and culture
Bus etiquette
Masks are required at all times when riding the buses in Aspen and Snowmass. Also, please board and depart the buses via the back doors.
Locals say "Thank you," to bus drivers when getting on and off.
What to pack
Don't forget your sunblock and swim suit.
Just because its cold does not mean you wont get sun burnt. We're much closer to the sun in Aspen Snowmass and all day on the ski hill can take it's toll on the skin. Pack that SPF and remember to stay hydrated.
Also, remember you have access to the hot tub year round. After a long day skiing there's no better way to relax than a nice hot tub session.
Customs and culture
Relax, its Aspen.
Here in our small ski town we go at a more relaxed pace. Locals tend to be happier and friendlier here than any other place in the world I've been to (and I've been to a lot of places around this blue marble.) So remember relax and have fun. Aspen knows how to do both really well.
