Food scene

My all time favourite Thai fusion in a very funky space. Not a place you’d stumble upon but very close to the apartment and always great feedback from my guests.

Sightseeing

Cross the road and take a wander through beautiful Veale Gardens. Part of Adelaide’s Parklands with groomed gardens, magnificent Roses, feed the ducks, pick some herbs from the community garden or just meander along the pathways. Very relaxing anytime of the day.

Head down towards the river and tour the Festival Theatre or wander around the Festival Plaza, often you will see an exhibition or fun activities taking place. Food trucks and entertainers love this area of town.

Wineries

A couple of our favourite wineries in McLaren Vale region.
This is the most instagrammable Winery you’ll ever visit. Every corner has a gorgeous detail to enjoy. The wines are superb and enjoying food on the lawn, or if cold, inside the cosy hut is a wonderful experience.

Run by a beautiful family, it’s cosy but not rustic. The wines are great and well priced. The restaurant is delicious and you can visit the wildlife sanctuary for some close up contact with Kangaroos.

If you are heading to the Barossa it’s wise to plan your day. It’s a huge area and each place is captivating. You may not get to see as many as you want. So plan to see you favourites first.
