There is much to see and do. Constantly updating and changing the exhibits.
The Chattahoochee Indian Heritage Center has a ceremonial flame memorial to the Creek nation. Interpretive panels recount the history of the Creek War of 1836 and the subsequent forced removal of the Creek peoples along the Trail of Tears. The memorial is located adjacent to Fort Mitchell Historic Site.

1000 Bay AveWe go 20 miles south from the (downtown Columbus) city to the (Ft Benning) base and it was just gorgeous. It wasn’t crowded at all even though it’s a Saturday. The views are breathtaking, the paved surface is perfect for an outing, well-maintained and spectacular views of the river. Peaceful trail to ride.
