Local chicken takeout.
I go there for Piri-Piri Chicken, which is freshly grilled (takes about 10mins) and pretty spicy. Very good quality and excellent value at £2.50 for half or £3.99 for a whole chicken. You get a choice of fries or salad with that. Get both the chilli and mayonnaise sauce when they ask. Bottom of the road, turn right and take the first left at the traffic lights. It’s a few doors down on the left.

Take out Pizza on the door step
It’s pretty average for a pizza place, but it’s okay and reasonable price wise. Down to the bottom of the road and turn left. Few doors down. Cheaper to collect.

Proper Indian restaurant but will deliver to the house.
The best place by far in the local area. Excellent Indian food and value for money. I haven’t found an Indian better than this in the whole of Birmingham. One of the best dishes is the Karahi — King Prawn particularly but the chicken is good too, Bhindi Bhaji (okra) and Matar Paneer side dishes are also excellent. Lovely Indian beer too.

Takeout & delivery only.
Though on the more expensive side, they are worth it. I've really only got the flame-grilled kebabs and ribs, but I've heard other stuff is good too.

Drinks & Nightlife
It's a lovely, independent brewery type pub. Calm atmosphere, a great selection of craft ales and beers. cosy with friendly staff.

This is a bigger style pub, that serves food and has a restaurant. It's a bit inconsistent food wise but is usually okay if you stick to the safer options. The pizza has always been really good here. It's got a great outside beer garden and is welcoming to kids. It's also got parking out the back. It's nicely decorated but lacks a bit of soul. But it's not bad and open late at the weekends, 2 am ish. It's only a 20 min walk from the house.
