A bit further down the road from Silverton, you will find Ouray. This is one of our favorites. It's gorgeous and a fun place to stop for lunch and a soak in the local hot springs. We also love to take a short hike to the waterfall and hike around the perimeter trail. Enjoy!

Colorado Trail at Junction Creek (near water, close to town and family friendly).
Horse Gulch and Twin Buttes for nearby mountain biking for all levels.
