Ways to save
Gas
The least expensive gas in the island is located at the Safeway grocery store in Kahalui near target Close in price is Costco. But you need a membership to fill up. Either of these places will save you close to $40 on a tank of gas
Getting around
Road to Hana
When traveling to Hana remember the road is narrow and winding. There are 32 bridges on the way and most are 1 lane . Be courteous to those behind you. Share the road. Pull over to let others pass Don’t lag on bridges taking pictures. Huge tip. If you see a local looking vehicle Behind you ,They will tailgate you until you let them pass. Remember they are on their way to work or home and not sight seeing. Show aloha and drive slow. It’s not the destination it’s the journey
