Echuca is the biggest nearby town (25 minutes). It has everything you need for a great day of eating, drinking and shopping. The biggest attraction is the historic port area where the old buildings transport you back in time and you can even go on a river cruise.

Love this town! Factory and Field Waffles is a must! There is a great little ‘beach’ area on the Gunbower river and a walking track that goes in a loop. There is a regular weekend market but check for dates as it’s seasonal.

A large regional town about an hour away. It’s well worth a visit if you have the day. Lovely old buildings, beautiful gardens and lots of yummy food options. If you’re into history there is a free tourist tram to point out all the sights but, if you’re more into self exploration just spend the day wandering the streets and you’ll be sure to find something you like.
