There are many different types of trails throughout this long canyon. Hiking, snowshoeing, trail running, mountain biking, and nordic ski trails can be found. There are also some very fun and popular snowmobiling areas.

This is a very popular hike and fun destination with the awesome hot springs at the end. Beautiful hike even if you decide not to get into the hot springs.
In the non winter months it is a 2.5 mile hike, but in the wintertime it is a 13 miles round trip due to the gates that close the road. You could snowmobile to the trailhead, but would still have 2.5 miles up to the hot springs in the wintertime. Google for more information (especially if you decide to go in the wintertime so you know what to expect and can prepare accordingly).

What to pack
You'll receive a detailed suggested packing list
The suggested packing list will be sent to you after booking. One thing we like to point out is that this is a backcountry yurt and that means you will need to bring sleeping bags or blankets (especially in the wintertime).
This yurt is very well stocked and you will be very comfortable, but we do not provide linen. You basically need to bring food, water, and a sleeping bag--that's it!
