Charming historic village with shops and restaurants. Don't miss Stickles, the 5 and Dime that's been owned by the same family for generations. My favorite spot for a picnic and view of the Hudson is the historic home, Wilderstein. Highly recommend the tour there too!

The heart of the Village of Saugerties is a mile from the cottage. It's a great village to walk and while smaller than Woodstock has everything we think you need. We recommend heading down the hill on partition street to the park or walk over the bridge to see the creek.
