Quite a nice grocery market, an alternative to Whole Foods. A short drive away in Ballard. Freshly made pizzas, sandwiches, self-serve salad bar. Across the street from Trader Joe's, so worth a peek.

A well-known seafood restaurant on the water, a short drive away. Solid service, nice views. Their signature dish -- Pacific Sablefish (a.k.a. black cod) -- was delicious; the Salmon was also great.

A local park, with a nice 2.8 mile loop around the lake for walking/running. A 15 min walk from our place. Duke's Seafood and public tennis courts are there as well. Beware: Lots of people on sunny days! :)

A super-convenient car rental service. Use their mobile app to book a Prius Hybrid, by the hour or by the day, gas and insurance included. 400+ cars are available throughout Seattle, so we were always able to find one within a few blocks.
