There are two entrances to the waterfall, the lower entrance also has a butterfly garden and is most accessible. There are several pools to swim in, a short hike off the main road.

There is a small parking fee. Low tide is best to explore the beautiful caves. There are also tents, chairs for rent and multiple vendors selling food & refreshments. This beach can get busy on the weekends and is best visited in the morning, sunset or during the week.

Head south on the highway, 5 minutes south of Ojochal you will turn left before a bridge. You will see signs for a Tilapia restaurant. Follow the dirt road (4x4 needed) for about 12 minutes, you will see an entrance across from Restaurante Tilapia El Pavon. It's just a short walk to a beautiful waterfall, featuring an iconic egg shaped rock in the waterfall.
