another MUST! Located 5 minutes from the condo, and open for breakfast and lunch. They also supply bread for many of the local restaurants. Their baked goods are some of the best I’ve had; they are probably some of the best in the state – I love the muffins, scones and biscuits. The only downside is there is no indoor seating, so you will need to take the food back to the condo or eat in the car if you are headed out and about.

Dining in Stowe
Stowe is a famous ski town.
During the Summer and Fall months, it is only a 15-20 minute drive away through the famous Smugglers' Notch pass. However, during the winter the pass is closed, and you must "go around" as the locals say, making it a 45 minute-1 hour drive.
Stowe is home to some of Vermont's restaurants - my favorites are below.
My favorite – a MUST!
A slice of Italy in Stowe – it rivals Italian food in any of the major cities. It is the type of place, where the owner is walking around making sure everything is to your liking. You will feel like family.
They import the bread in fresh multiple times a week from a bakery in NYC. Everything is good – my favorites are the Carbonara and Chicken Parm. Save room for dessert, you will not regret it! | Make a reservation.

The "notch" as locals call it, separates Mount Mansfield, the highest peak of the Green Mountains, from Spruce Peak and the Sterling Range.
