Fast food joint with a drive through. Close to home, has reasonably priced burgers, subs, chicken and fish. It also has an Ice cream machine. I recommend "bragðarefur" ice cream for dessert.

There are two bakeries in a similar vicinity to my place. I prefer this one since it has a a lot more to offer.

This is the neighborhood strip mall. It has two supermarkets, Bonus which is low price and is open until 8 in the evening and Hagkaup which has more to offer and is open until midnight every day. There are seven fast food restaurants there, a pharmacy, bakery(small one) and a liquor store (Vinbudin)
