This great powerhouse of steel and concrete holds back the Osage river and creates the Lake of the Ozarks. On the north side, there is a beautiful scenic overlook of the lake. On the south sits the historic Lake Ozark strip with restaurants, shops, and attractions. The dam is actually visible from Harbour Towne!

A tourist favorite, but not for everyone. This corner of the Lake near the state park fills with partiers on the summer weekends. If you're looking for quiet and serene, this is not the place for you!

With more of a suburban feel, Osage Beach is where you will find all of the large box stores and restaurant chains you would expect, as well as the outlet mall. Spanning nearly the entire southeastern side of the Lake, Osage Beach is much more than just strip malls and box stores.

Camdenton is the seat of Camden County, and exists on its own right, less influenced by the Lake. It is a typical small-to-mid sized Missouri town at the crossroads of Highway 54 and MO-5. A quieter but quickly growing lake environment can be found here, along with one of the most popular state parks in Ha Ha Tonka and the mythologized Bridal Cave.
