Hands down the best pizza around! They have a varied menu and everything is tasty! Our family favorite is the 18" with sausage, pepperoni, and banana peppers! See if they will slice it in squares, rather than pie slices ;)

And be sure to grab a pizza at Laurelville Pizza, right on the circle. We have them on speed dial! Build your own or go with our personal favorite - 18" sausage and pepperoni with banana peppers - just $20 and it feeds 4-6.

Traveler advice
Getting around
Personal transportation is needed
We sit in the foothills of the beautiful Appalachian Mountains where you will experience roads with sharp curves and step hills. It also means that you will not be walking from site-to-site, and there are few cyclists (although a few).
Most roads are of very good quality, thanks to tourism dollars like yours that help maintain them, but it still will take you longer to drive 10 miles on these roads than an urban or suburban area do to the rugged terrain. When we say something is 5, 10, or 15 miles away, just slow down and enjoy the view. That's what the person in front of you is doing.
Customs and culture
Be Kind
You will find locals to be friendly and kind. We ask that you enjoy this and be equally as pleasant to these folks that allow so many guests into their community each year.
Around the cabin, we have several Amish families. Please, please, use caution when driving and keep our neighbors safe. And give them a pointer finger wave, they're certain to give you one.
Don't miss
Hiking / Scenic Drives
The area is known for its hiking and scenic drives, which not only include gorgeous views from high above, but also geographical wonders of waterfalls and rock formations. Some trails are wheelchair friendly so we really do encourage you (even if you're not a hiker!) to get outdoors and see what all the buzz is about.
Don't miss
Within 5-10 minutes from the cabin
Our cabin is in a secluded forest yet just 5 minutes from downtown Laurelville. Not only are the locals friendly, but they're critical to the experience of our guests by providing restaurants, a gas station, a Family Dollar, a grocery, and even activities like horseback riding, glass blowing, petting farm, and a state park. We would all love for you to include local in at least a portion of your activities and spend.
What to pack
What to pack
We include a lot, but here are some things you'll be responsible for: a beach towel for the hot tub, hiking boots, mud boots, and slippers or clean shoes for inside the cabin.
If you have questions on other items, feel free to reach out to us!
Traveling with kids
