In 2007 the Pasadena Symphony incorporated the Pasadena POPS Orchestra into its association and rebranded as Pasadena Symphony and POPS.

A hallmark of its robust education programs, the Pasadena Symphony Association has served the youth of the region for over five decades through the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestras of over 250 gifted students in grades 4-12 from more than 50 schools all over Southern California. The PYSO Symphony often performs on the popular television show GLEE.
