This place is the oldest brewery in town. They're known for their nachos, which we recommend an extra small or small if you're only eating for one or two. Trust me! LOL And be careful, the green chile can be HOT!!!! Also, their beer menu is always changing. They have the beer menus on the tables with dots next to the beer to show what is available. Don't know what beer to try? Ask for a sample!

The Icebox is another brewery that is really close by. Their drink menu changes quite frequently so there is always something new and delicious to try. They also have a permeant food truck called Ruby Soho! The chorizo fries and green chile wontons are our favorite!!! Just order at the food truck and they'll bring out your order to your table or at the bar if you're sitting there.

The Rio Grande River doesn't flow year-round. It gets closed off by a water reservoir as they try to conserve and regulate water usage. It is the desert after all. But during the summer months, you can find Las Crucens cooling off in the river. From tubing to kayaking, is one of our favorite summer places. Don't forget your sunscreen and river shoes! Also, please remember to pack out your trash to help keep our beautiful planet clean. It's also really close to our house.
