Definitely one of the best breakfast/brunch spots in Asheville. Because it's so popular, you'll often see a line forming in the morning, particularly during the weekends. It's conveniently located right by the Cozy Cottage!

My favorite West Asheville Coffee Shop. There's limited indoor seating but they also have a patio where you can sit outside. The decor is unique, very Asheville.

Sweet little town within 30 minutes drive of Asheville. Nice for walking around and sightseeing. There are some hikes just north of Black Mountain in Montreat.

Sightseeing

Biltmore is the largest privately owned house in the country, with a sprawling estate, walking trails, picturesque gardens, a winery, and more. If you want to get tickets to tour the house, I recommend booking those in advance, as spots tend to fill up. If you're touring the house + grounds, I recommend budgeting at least a couple of hours (or more). It takes time to drive into the estate, park and to drive out.

This neighborhood is close to West Asheville and has tons of amazing galleries with art by local artists to check out. You'll find paintings, photography, jewelry, woodworking, and tons more. This neighborhood also has some great coffee shops, street art and breweries. Great for hanging out during the day, as many galleries close around 5.
