These aren't exactly sno-cones - the ice is different (ask anyone who's tried them) and there are so many flavors and combinations that it's tough to decide what you want (I recommend staring at the menu before approaching the window). Great at the end of a day!

A bar and restaurant on the beach, serving beer and sandwiches to the locals for years. Walk out back and rent a jetski, or sip your beer and watch the sunset on the gulf.

Sightseeing

The island is known for the seashells - if you're a collector (or simply want to be one for a day) you should make the trip (about 40 minutes in a car) and spend the day at any number of beaches on the island. Depending on the season, it might be hard to find a place to park, but once you're situated it's a relaxing place to be.

Online, everyone raves about the Wonder Gardens. I personally find it interesting to see and hear all the animals and to speak with their keepers about how they live, what wear, etc. It is a nice diversion on a day if beaches or sun are otherwise unavailable. There is lots of shade and lots to learn, and best of all for our guests: you can walk there!!
