Just 2.5 miles to the east, is very quiet, very nice Moon Dune Beach. It’s a great spot to enjoy the sand and play in the shallow, warmer water of the lake.

Another mile down the road is super popular King’s Beach. A larger (but still small) parking area and a large beach attracts a lot of visitors. There’s a volleyball net and picnic tables that fill up quickly.
