61D OperagataSuper nice place to sit down outside. Great coffee.
Avoid this place, it does deliver a standard burger and beer at not too outrageous prices, but its too much of a chain restaurant for our taste.

Indian restaurant that has gotten great reviews has great food and has nice interior that makes you want to sharpen up your clothes. They very often have folks in Ferraris illegally parked outside which I guess is both dumb and cool and the same time.

Its always a line to get these 50kr donuts. They are sort of famous and the talk of the town, so its probably worth checking it out for the sake of having a valid opinion. I personally think they are just donuts.

Its a chain, and its inconsistent service here. Sometimes we are welcomed like heroes, sometimes we have to wait over an hour to get our order. But in general we have found the food to be quite good here. Not bad value for money especially if you go for the family-packs.

KUMI
56A Schweigaards gateGreat vegetarian food which is great for a breakfast.
This restaurant is in the first floor of our building. They have great 7 course dinners for about 1000 kroner. Their style is very cool, minimalistic and trendy. They also have a lesser known restaurant named "lille betong" - little betong. Its facing north. This place lets you just sit down and drink wine from their extensive wine menu and also order a la carte from what the big restaurant has on their menu.

Traveler advice
Getting around
Electric scooters
Everyone seems to hate them, but I love how everything in Oslo is about 10 minutes away now. Its pretty fun too.
Getting around
Car sharing
Parking is not easy here, which is why car sharing is sometimes better as they come with parking spots and its rarely more than 10 minutes to walk to find a car. We use Nabobil, Vybil, Hyre, and Bilkollektivet
Getting around
Central station is close, but buses/trams are even closer
From central station its easy to get to most places, but if you are going west or south/east, there are surprisingly many buses that stops in Dronning Eufemias gate. Buss 300 takes you to Helsfyr which is a also a good hub for getting a lot of places in Oslo.
Getting around
Parking
Oslo S - OnePark 500m - 480kr per 24h
Grønland - OnePark 750m 280kr per 24h
Sørenga - Aimo Park - 420kr per 24h
Streetparking - Most areas in central Oslo has no streetparking unless you are a resident. Bydel Nordstrand, Bydel Østensjø are the closest with free streetparking. If you circle around the Holtet area on Nordstrand you probably find something, and then its just a 10 minute tram ride back to Bjørvika.
