Downtown Nampa's best bistro at the top of the Historic Masonic Temple! Menu changes by season, includes farm to fork dining paired with local wines and a full bar for delectable cocktails. The ribeye is a perennial fave, though, and always a great choice!

Teeny tiny family owned authentic Italian restaurant (with family recipes!) located in the heart of downtown Nampa... Dine alfresco or (if you are lucky enough to get one of the three tables ) dine indoors!
The lasagne is *chef's kiss!* as is the squash ravioli!
Here's the secret about this place...they have a family meal deal that includes a large pizza, salad, meet or cheese ravioli, dinner rolls and a 2 liter of soda for under $40. The catch is that you have to order it to go. (I recommend the sausage and mushroom pizza with onion and garlic-- its not on the menu, but its his grandmother's recipe and he's always happy to make it!)

The homemade tortilla chips and guac are the bomb, but what I really love about this place is their mezcal and tequilla cocktails. The Howl at the Moon seemed like an attempt to offer "healthy" cocktails with the addition of aloe juice, but that's not why I ordered it...it came recommended and I fell in love with its contrast of smoky and sweet and I have to say that it is currently my favorite cocktail!

I believe the 3 pillars of success are Gratitude, Grace and Grit(TM). So of course I had to try this place based on its name alone....backstory: the owners moved here and fell in love with Caldwell so much so they opened a restaurant to give back! This place has tasty fusion style offerings -- that pork belly kimchi rice bowl is yummm!-- the service is great, just like you would expect in our friendly C-Town!

Ok...this one has become more popular in the past few years, and tends to get crowded, but if you visit early enough in the day, you will enjoy the majesty of this (once) hidden gem. A great place for a lazy Sunday BBQ and water sport with the family on the beach. If you are looking for picnic and lawn games, the Caldwell beach offers a bigger, grassy area for the whole fam to spread out. However, the walking path from the Wildlife Refuge Center on the Nampa side is the best for watching the full moon rise (at sunset) in the summer months.
